Death Stranding was one of them. They mistakenly let the Director's Cut out for free for the first lucky few who claimed right away, most likely a mistake on Epic's part. After that, it was the base standard edition for everyone else.

I remember Bloons TD6 being one that I didn't scoop up, and later bought on Steam, and then later later Epic had it for free again haha

Epic Games gives one or two free games every week throughout the year. This is a special daily freebie that is expected to start on Dec 13. Go to the link in the post (or the Epic Games home page), log into your account, and you'll see the free games in the section that currently shows GigaBash & Predecessor with a mystery game showing for Dec 13. That's where the limited-time free games show up. There are other games that are always free-to-play on that page as well, but look for the ones that are temporarily free. Make sure to claim the games while they're free, and they'll be added to your game library to keep.

yeah because at win 7 at 14 years old and win 8 at 11 years old is so current. and 11 is a free upgrade if you have 10.

and if you are still on 8 you can upgrade to 10 or 11 for free if your pc hardware has TPM and Secure boot set in the BIOS. so no real reason not to upgrade. Unless your computer cant get online, why would you want to keep using an OS that no longer gets security updates?

It just went live and was Destiny 2: Legacy Collection.

At the time of my post, the next item is not for 7 more days. So, maybe they aren't doing the daily items again this year?

Seems so. The free games have been lackluster recently.
That is said I think they also started the Christmas sale early today and have a 33% off coupon for free.

For example Hogwartz Legacy is 24 after coupon. Not bad IMO.
Alan Wake 2 for 26.79 is also not bad for a new release.

I'd give them credit at least on the store sales even though the free games aren't very interesting at the moment/recently.

Thought maybe the candy was the umbrella logo. Then the three vertical lines on the ornament gave me a resident evil vibe. But they really only have dead by daylight RE mods so I'm guaranteed to be wrong
