Is this cash only? Last time I was in a dollar general (for ps gift cards) the guy wouldn't let me use credit or debit cards on them.

Last month Gamestop stopped taking their giftcards towards the purchase of any online currency (Nintendo, Steam, PS, Xbox etc), the use of points towards the purchase of these and also starting Dec 1 they stopped taking their $5 monthly pro coupon towards them

Considering a lot of people have not purchased disc version of last gen. game consoles, I think it's fair to say moving forward GS wants their customers spending most of their funds purchasing funko pops and similar crap

Make sure you are looking at the second section as there is a 10% off and another down below indicating 15% off on the 15th.

"System is down" is code/excuse cashiers use to deny the sale of any type of gift cards either because they think you're being scammed, are a scammer or simply straight orders from their store or district manager

Here is the funny thing, my town recently had a Dollar General come in. He have one now.

But...

Dick's Sporting Goods
Chili's
Gap
Burger King
Taco Bell

...are all long out of business. The last 3 were in a mall, and the mall closed in 2020.
