That is entirely the point. They don't make anything on these; they want you in the store.

15% here. Gonna be like BF in a dollar store. Bringing my shottie with me, prolly a knife for backup. Do they allow pitties as companion dogs anyone know?
According to a new lawsuit following a shooting, over 50 people have killed in Dollar General Stores in last 10 years. That does not include the ones that got shot or stabbed and lived.

Considering a lot of people have not purchased disc version of last gen. game consoles, I think it's fair to say moving forward GS wants their customers spending most of their funds purchasing funko pops and similar crap
Where'd you hear that? I'm pretty sure the disc model has sold more, especially with all the mess regarding digital content disappearing. I know I won't buy digital unless it's under $10.

Nope, negative, completely incorrect
Last month Gamestop stopped taking their giftcards towards the purchase of any online currency (Nintendo, Steam, PS, Xbox etc), the use of points towards the purchase of these and also starting Dec 1 they stopped taking their $5 monthly pro coupon towards them

Thanks for that info. I always knew they let you use the $5 monthly reward to get a $5 PS code, although I always forgot to go in and use it (and lately my son has been playing more on the PC than his PS4, and we can't afford a PS5), so I was surprised when I went in to get a Meta Quest card and they wouldn't let me use me $5 reward. And it was on Dec. 1. I was first bummed that I realized I let November go by and not use the reward (I didn't even think about it being the 1st until I was paying). Now even more so knowing I could have went in just one day before and not only used last month's but been able to use it towards the gift card. Oh well. I didn't even realize they had them until that day, which prompted me to go in to get one hoping to use my reward. I also heard Target had them, which might have been better to get my 5% off since I couldn't use my reward (and I think they may have even went on sale right after I bought it).

I doubt it, but the ad does say, "Most gift cards." I guess we shall see. 😊 I certainly hope so because I have some credit card room 🤑
Several DG don't allow credit cards to be used for gift cards. I have ran into this since I buy 15% off Lowes every year on Thanksgiving Day. I bring cash for backup.

Wish Lowe's was in there again, but if you're smart with the app having some Taco Bell cards could be a good way to get some cheap grub if you're struggling
Struggling… almost to the point of riding your bike to the grocery store… but not quiet that desperate. Taco Bell drive through here I come!

I ran into that once. It was the dingy cashier making up her own rules, because when I went back when she wasn't there, there was no problem. There has never been a problem since. The problem I have every year is the credit card companies flagging me for fraud and shutting me down.... even after they promise not to. I end up on the phone with their fraud department a lot. I buy a lot, usually on a 0% card. I used them for a new washer and dryer and supplies for home renovation.

I'm guessing this is currently the best way to get the quest 3 discounted?

It says most. Wonder if this includes lowes. I need a new dryer.

Yeah, 15% off GameStop would be best deal I've seen plus they currently $25 off $250+ order with in store pickup. I nabbed one with the 10% off Target + some free target cards I'd earned from other BF deals.
