No, it isn't. If you purchased before their 25% off coupon: RK25 expired on December 8th, as I did, it would have been only $89.

Opinions like Darko's are a starting point not an end point. I've owned things Darko has reviewed and my experience is he steers people in the right direction. If he said something was good that I felt fit my needs and budget I look into it further, including looking for objective measurement data if available.

FYI, It looks like the discount only works on the linked version and not the version with the remote for ~$7 more, unfortunately. Still a good deal, and if you want the remote just factor that into the equation if buying separately on Amazon.
