If you don't have a specific use case for it, then maybe it's not for you.
For me, it's streaming 24bit/192kHz from Amazon Music on my Marantz SR5014.
The Marantz has a good DAC, but Google Chromecast just doesn't support that kind of streaming.

Nothing to get excited about but better than a lot of AVR comparators.
The WiiM Pro Plus has been measured. It performed extremely well. I don't know of any Denon DAC product that is as perfromant.
DAC performance is 100% an objective trait. You measure the signals and compare.

All the WiiM streamers offer bit perfect Toslink passthrough. This is how I feed my miniDSP. In a situation like this the streamers DAC is of no consequence as it is not used. The miniDSP has to use its own DAC as it need to manipulate the audio.
If anyone needs a remote for the WiiM Mini Oe regular Pro it is only $20

I'd totally play the Super Happy Smile Joy Fun Time Family Wish Radio Show on it.
I think these streamers can satisfy most audiophiles, but depending on how you listen you may want to consider the DAC as the weak point (unless you get the pro plus version like rooskie said above). Personally, I'd put that money towards a separate DAC or a DAC+amp combo like the smsl c200. Poor man's audiophile setup… but it will open up worlds you never knew existed with the music you love. With this cheap, transparent setup, you can then spend more money on better headphones or speakers (or, dare I say, both?).
