So I bought this when it was $600 after shipping (with the phone mount, don't get the phone mount you can get a separate one for much cheaper). When I got it, the front brakes were busted and not repairable, I took it to a shop to put together and they said they didn't recommend it as it wasn't safe. Also, the battery did not have the UL logo. I think they have since gotten the UL certification. The repair shop also mentioned that they have received a lot of these Amazon ebikes that were damaged in transit, so you are taking a bit of a gamble of hoping it comes undamaged. If it's not intact, then it's a headache, as you will see it's not so easy to return.

When I returned it, it was a pain. They don't pay for the return shipping label, Amazon sends you one where you have to pay for it yourself. I drove to FedEx to have them tell me that, an also, that particular one cannot store batteries (only a few can, even the dedicated FedEx stores) so I couldn't drop it off there. It was a pain, but it gave me time to complain to HeyBike and they sent me a prepaid shipping label. FedEx picked it up. It was a headache, but at this price, I may buy it again and hope it works out this time.

I did ride it a bit before I returned it, it did get up to 20mph and up hills, about 10mph. It was pretty fun. I do like the removable battery aspect of it, can store it inside during winters.

This is a price that you cannot beat. I wanted the Lectric XP 3.0 but at $1000, it's more than what I'm willing to spend for an ebike that doesn't have much utility for me right now.

Ok, i just got off the phone with customer support ,heavy bulk dept(866-423-5353), and i expressed my concerns about my 3 orders of e.bike and i was told that the bikes are in a Amazon fulfillment center in New York , that the tracking numbers given to us will be updated as soon as the final carrier ( the one whos gonna make the delivery , UPS or CEVA(for Rattan bikes) have the itens ready for deliver .

From what I've seen on YouTube, the front wheel wobbles, so you'd want to get a trueing of the front wheel. Of course, at this price, a shop to assemble and true the wheels may cost more than the bike itself. It does come mostly assembled and is pretty easy to put together. It's not a quality eBike but I think it'll hold me over until eBikes become cheaper and cheaper and my city implements more friendly biking infrastructure.

Iirc 27" bikes are almost all large/extra large. I'd assume those under 5'8 will not fit comfortably
27.5" refers to the wheel size not standover height/frame size. The rider height is listed as 5'4"-6'4" so essentially OSFA. Not sure I buy that, it must be a very long seat tube with a very small bike frame.

great deal for basically disposable garbage.
From the research I've done from YouTube/Google reviews, the price isn't bad for the quality, even at their $600 price. Sure, it's not a mid-drive with a hydraulic brake system, but for an ebike with a throttle, this is cheaper than a pedal bike which is insane to me. This is the second best selling eBike on Amazon, I wonder why and how they are able to sell these for so cheap.

The drop top tube is how they get that range I believe, although the top and bottom of that range might be a stretch.

Damn I'm tempted..never been in an ebike but been thinking about getting the electric xp3.. but at this price maybe worth the gamble? Then again, the hassle of anything is wrong and no free returns?
