Refunds were all over the place before the automated refunds today of $10. If you have receipts from conversations about promises for refunds/price-matches, time to get those sorted if you haven't already.

So I bought this when it was $600 after shipping (with the phone mount, don't get the phone mount you can get a separate one for much cheaper). When I got it, the front brakes were busted and not repairable, I took it to a shop to put together and they said they didn't recommend it as it wasn't safe. Also, the battery did not have the UL logo. I think they have since gotten the UL certification. The repair shop also mentioned that they have received a lot of these Amazon ebikes that were damaged in transit, so you are taking a bit of a gamble of hoping it comes undamaged. If it's not intact, then it's a headache, as you will see it's not so easy to return.
When I returned it, it was a pain. They don't pay for the return shipping label, Amazon sends you one where you have to pay for it yourself. I drove to FedEx to have them tell me that, an also, that particular one cannot store batteries (only a few can, even the dedicated FedEx stores) so I couldn't drop it off there. It was a pain, but it gave me time to complain to HeyBike and they sent me a prepaid shipping label. FedEx picked it up. It was a headache, but at this price, I may buy it again and hope it works out this time.
I did ride it a bit before I returned it, it did get up to 20mph and up hills, about 10mph. It was pretty fun. I do like the removable battery aspect of it, can store it inside during winters.
This is a price that you cannot beat. I wanted the Lectric XP 3.0 but at $1000, it's more than what I'm willing to spend for an ebike that doesn't have much utility for me right now.
Ok, i just got off the phone with customer support ,heavy bulk dept(866-423-5353), and i expressed my concerns about my 3 orders of e.bike and i was told that the bikes are in a Amazon fulfillment center in New York , that the tracking numbers given to us will be updated as soon as the final carrier ( the one whos gonna make the delivery , UPS or CEVA(for Rattan bikes) have the itens ready for deliver .

Heavy packages shipped from Asia, presumably by boat, dropped off on the west coast, somehow made their way on the opposite side of the huge continental US instead of being shipped to the customers just after getting off the boat? I am missing something.
I don't think that's accurate, not at all. I tried to cancel my order, but since amazon has marked these orders as shipped (even though ups only lists "label created"), they cannot be cancelled. You can attempt an intercept but only when the "status" changes (according to 3 amazon reps). But guess what? The status has been "label created" (according to ups) and "shipped" (according to Amazon) since the moment it was ordered and I'd wager it's not going to change anytime soon....
So if you know a way of cancelling the order, I'd love to hear it
I'm in the exact same boat. Bought 12 days ago. Label created and "shipped" within an hour of purchasing. Hasn't moved or changed status. So they are just going to charge us with no actual shipment being made? Seems shady.

Called Amazon customer service . They acknowledged an issue and created a ticket and said I'd hear from them in 48 hours. She asked if I wanted a refund. I told her I would wait .
