Refunds were all over the place before the automated refunds today of $10. If you have receipts from conversations about promises for refunds/price-matches, time to get those sorted if you haven't already.

So I bought this when it was $600 after shipping (with the phone mount, don't get the phone mount you can get a separate one for much cheaper). When I got it, the front brakes were busted and not repairable, I took it to a shop to put together and they said they didn't recommend it as it wasn't safe. Also, the battery did not have the UL logo. I think they have since gotten the UL certification. The repair shop also mentioned that they have received a lot of these Amazon ebikes that were damaged in transit, so you are taking a bit of a gamble of hoping it comes undamaged. If it's not intact, then it's a headache, as you will see it's not so easy to return.
When I returned it, it was a pain. They don't pay for the return shipping label, Amazon sends you one where you have to pay for it yourself. I drove to FedEx to have them tell me that, an also, that particular one cannot store batteries (only a few can, even the dedicated FedEx stores) so I couldn't drop it off there. It was a pain, but it gave me time to complain to HeyBike and they sent me a prepaid shipping label. FedEx picked it up. It was a headache, but at this price, I may buy it again and hope it works out this time.
I did ride it a bit before I returned it, it did get up to 20mph and up hills, about 10mph. It was pretty fun. I do like the removable battery aspect of it, can store it inside during winters.
This is a price that you cannot beat. I wanted the Lectric XP 3.0 but at $1000, it's more than what I'm willing to spend for an ebike that doesn't have much utility for me right now.
Ok, i just got off the phone with customer support ,heavy bulk dept(866-423-5353), and i expressed my concerns about my 3 orders of e.bike and i was told that the bikes are in a Amazon fulfillment center in New York , that the tracking numbers given to us will be updated as soon as the final carrier ( the one whos gonna make the delivery , UPS or CEVA(for Rattan bikes) have the itens ready for deliver .

Spent about 2 hours, initially I was offered refund plus difference ordering from hey bike but I declined. Then they reneged and said the best they can do is refund plus $150 gc which I declined. Two reps just told me that's all they can do and then disconnected, wiped the entire chat log. So in essence they retracted an offer they made and hung up on me twice. Now I'm never giving up, it's personal now.
A tip to those using chat. If they give you an offer, make sure to screenshot the log.. it has been a known instance by many customers that Amazon resolution agents have been deleting/modifying the chat logs. I personally asked an agent why a chat log was modified and they say they "remove irrelevant information", and when I invoked more the entire log was deleted.
Chatted with CS and mentioned that my bike has missed it's 2 expected delivery dates now (after 1st one was pushed back) . CS said no problem and that there is an issue with the inventory. She mentioned that she's fixed the issue by selecting a different fulfillment center and it should now arrive on Dec 26. I don't see my tracking # updated or any updates to the existing tracking number either.
Again, just sharing this but let's see. Maybe it was just some BS they told me or their system is really not in sync with their 'inventory'. I'll wait a bit longer. No rush to get a refund back yet.

I was told that the bike "will never be delivered" by a CS rep. Now the entire chat was wiped. This is the most shady thing Amazon has ever done. Let's give them hell.
From an Amazon agent I got a revised shipping date of January 8th with a $25 gift certificate (must be an Amazon sold & shipped product). I figure I might as well wait around, not change my position relative to the bike, and if it doesn't show see if I can get additional compensation and a full refund it nothing arrives by the 8th.

Same. I don't know what kind of mess Amazon has going on, but deleting chat logs is super sketchy. Almost as sketchy as a CSR asking me for a OTP so their "partner" could access my account. I think I'm done with Amazon.
Took the recent advice and hit up support for the refund. I got a $200 gift card promo for the troubles, didn't have to press too hard. Good enough for me.
I was only offered $150 GC which I declined. They also hung up on me twice for not accepting their offer. One rep said maybe mid january they will have it in stock but I doubt it. I will not settle for less than $250 + refund for all the shadiness they are doing. They even wiped our chat. So disappointing.
