I just received my Charlie Brown Christmas record and it was damaged. Target placed it in a 14x12x8 box with zero padding. I chatted with Target and they refunded the price of the record. The last time I ordered a record from Target was in a box designed for records and arrived in perfect condition.

Order for in-store pickup. If you order for home delivery it's 50% shot you have to go to the store anyway.

Also, these are 150-180 grain records, not the thicker 220 of yester-century so they aren't going to hold up nearly as well or long. These are made for the shitty little Victrola or Crosley "suitcase players" they sell that use hairpins for the needles.

Most records from last century were about 120 grams. Most nowadays are thicker and heavier than the originals.

Target is prob the most inconsistent when shipping records. It's hit or miss whether they just throw it in a box or the proper media shipping package.
