I have this saw, it's great. Had to upgrade to a slider (Ryobi) because I needed the reach capacity, but it's not as good as this one.

I have the Hitachi version, it's been great, but can anyone recommend a good stand that won't break the bank?

I need to replace the stair treads at the exterior deck

If I recall correctly, with 10" meter saw I had to do two cuts for 2x8" (i.e. cut the half, flip, and then cut the other half)

I have the sliding version of this saw, and use this Bora stand, which is fine for my needs.
