Part of Holiday Deals Day 11, so only good through 12.11.2023

+ $14.99 S/H if not at local warehouse

Soldered RAM, unfortunately, but everything else looks good and soldered RAM is pretty common at this price point (and higher)

(EDIT – posted through the phone app, so I acknowledge that the post text is sparse and the formatting sucks)

For anyone who is sensitive to PWM flickering, Notebookcheck's review states that this particular computer uses PWM flickering at all brightness levels. =(
Let me make this simple:

You have $600 budget. You use laptop for general productivity and media consumption. You need the best screen.

Go for this laptop and don't think twice.
OLED in this segment is crazy, and soldered RAM is not bad when it's this much and this fast. Nice deal

I recently bought the below from Costco's holiday deal. Any suggestions on which is the better option? Since the price is the same -

1) Costco website says Graphic card as "Integrated Graphics". How can I know the exact graphic card name ?
2) RAM is soldered but will this have an expandable RAM slot ?
3) How to see the exact model in HP website to get more details ? Searching by model 14-ey0095cl is giving an customizable item.

Thanks

This current deal is much better than the one you bought. Even just based on the screen alone, not considering the other areas where it's superior. I'm honestly shocked at how good of a deal this is.

There is nothing about the one you bought that is better than this 7840U/OLED model.. The display you got is 250nits. Might has well throw it in the trash. Hope you can return it and get this.

I prefer the HP for $100 savings and 780M iGPU.

I have two ZenBooks and love them. But I just bought this HP.

Zenbook 14x is fantastically solid and durable and it has 2x Thunderbolts.

Here you get much better iGPU and $100.

Also, my guess would be that speakers and battery are slightly better on Asus, while camera is better here

Overall, both of them are the best laptops you can buy at this price if you need 120Hz OLED and are OK with 16GB and no dGPU

I'm also trying to make the same decision. Zenbook is beautiful, but this is $100 cheaper. I'm a non-gamer. This is a productivity laptop.
