Difference between this and the JLabs Epic Talk that is also on clearance? The images on the pages look identical except a color difference.

I was curious myself and this is what I found out through my research on JLabs website [jlab.com]. Although it's hard to tell from the pictures, the JBuds Talk is slightly smaller and lighter than the Epic Talk. The Epic Talk also has a customizable LED, but the biggest difference that I could see is that the recording sample rate on the JBuds Talk is 96k vs the 192k of the Epic Talk. Anyone have experience with these products? Would 192k sample rate will lead to better quality? I know it will just use up more hard drive space when recording audio.

I went for the Epic Talk after watching a video of its use. The audio quality is incredible! I have no idea why these are on clearance, they could've just made the prices more reasonable and they would've sold like crazy!

How does this one compare to the Jlab epic talk also on sale at BB right hnow?

i'm looking for the best quality mic i can get for the cheapest to do some podcasting.

the epic is $37, and the jbuds is $26.

i was thinking to get the jbuds since its $10 cheaper, but is the epic talk worth an extra $11??

For what i'm doing it doesn't have to be the best sounding, but if its actually worth an extra $11 i'll consider it.

Also, would i be better off with any other comparable price mic over Jlab mics?

It'll just be in a bedroom on my linux computer and screen recording.

the epic talk is $38:

i'm considering either the epic talk or the jbuds talk...Any idea how the epic compares to the jbuds? the epic is $11 more. I'm thinking to get the cheaper jbuds one for $26. The epic seems like it has better specs than the jbuds....but are the specs good enough for an extra $11 if i'm on a budget and just need something kind of basic? i'm not doing studio stuff or anything...just want decent clear voice audio at my computer in a bedroom. Thanks!

For those wondering...i did a little research on this.

it looks to me like the only difference between the jdubs for $26 and the epic for $38 is the jbuds is 96 sample rate and the epic is 192.

I read the 192 sample isn't too useful for most people over 96.

So now i'm leaning towards the jdubs for $26

But is there better mics for $26 for doing basic podcasting (i dont care about looks as i wont be on video)??
