Mine was also scheduled for Dec. 20th. However I just called Amazon Bulky order Service line and was told they don't have anything in their warehouse, and Amazon is currently negotiating with their supplier to seek for a solution. I was offered $60 per bike as compensation though. The lady who answered the phone told me she never got this issue before during her past 10+ years of experience in the bulky item service center, and Amazon has already escalated this issue as of today. She did help me submit three tickets to the headquarter and ask me to wait for another 72 hours for a response. Let's see what happens next.

Just chatted with Amazon to discuss the screenshot. The rep confirmed that Amazon IS a authorized store and the Rattan note only applies to non-Rattan and non-Amazon 3rd party Sellers. The rep also confirmed that if anything is wrong, Amazon will help.

He also confirmed that the product is returnable within 30 days.

If I had to guess, it looks like Amazon is trying to clear out it's warehouses' stock of ebikes so they are selling them at a loss instead of the dropship price of the sellers. Amazon would eat the loss because they already paid for the product, but seller does not like it because it devalues their brand.

I have two Gen3 e-bikes that I bought a couple of years ago. It was a Slickdeal. They are still working great. No real complaints. The company has gone belly up. Most of us here at that time thought that it was about to happen. Hence the fire sale.

I didn't really need two more e-bikes. But these are better bikes than my Gen3 Groove and Stride. I convinced myself that I will sell the Gen3 on Craigslist and then placed an order for two of these. Good thing I did. This deal is very dead now.

Their website clearly stated "New York City Is Not Available For Shipment". That indicates the bike and its battery are not UL-2849 certified.
