So the delivery meter on Amazon that progresses closer to out for delivery as the delivery date nears doesn't mean anything then right?
I suspect it automatically moves closer to "out for delivery" as the date approaches, and doesn't represent any delivery update info that it receives. I also noticed mine crept more to the right each day.

There are two members of this long discussion thread (Phegotgame and ugabuga) who stated they have a delivery date of Wednesday Dec 20, and it would be good if they would post if they are now receiving a change in their delivery update--such as if they are now at the "out for delivery" stage.

Mine was also scheduled for Dec. 20th. However I just called Amazon Bulky order Service line and was told they don't have anything in their warehouse, and Amazon is currently negotiating with their supplier to seek for a solution. I was offered $60 per bike as compensation though. The lady who answered the phone told me she never got this issue before during her past 10+ years of experience in the bulky item service center, and Amazon has already escalated this issue as of today. She did help me submit three tickets to the headquarter and ask me to wait for another 72 hours for a response. Let's see what happens next.

Did you say anything in particular to get that compensation? Like express being upset, or say it was a gift, etc? I would be surprised if you only asked questions and they offered it freely.

I wouldn't give up that easily. Amazon has clear liability here and the resources to make it right. I wouldn't stop until you get to Andy Jassy.

Yes I clearly and repeatedly expressed how disappointed I am and thinking about switching to Walmart for future orders. She then quickly provided me a $60 compensation, asking me to stay with Amazon.

I'd not let them get away with $60. The agent I chatted with was 100% adamant that it was on a truck heading my way for Christmas. Whatever solution they come up with better be something good.

How could Amazon not be in possession of them when it's Fulfilled/Sold by Amazon?

Not only that, but also trying to sell products they are not even allowed to sell. If Rattan is correct, then they never had those bikes at all. It boggles the mind how someone made this mistake on not one but three different bikes.

Well I guess for these larger and heavier items, even listed as FBA Amazon may not actually have them. Also it looks like these bikes were not that popular before, so Amazon may not want to let them sit in their warehouses, just wasting too much space.

I sure wish Amazon was consistent with their answers. I called the Amazon Specialty and Large Items Returns Department (866-423-5353) and received a different answer. I have ordered both the Rattan and the Mukkpet ebikes and requested updates on both.

Rattan: The representative called CEVA and confirmed they have not received the ebike. He confirmed that the ebike is in transit to CEVA at this time. The ebike departed from Logan Township, NJ (where there are Amazon warehouses) and the package weighs 110 lbs. I was happy to hear the 110 lbs since the bike alone weighs 61 lbs.

Mukkpet: The representative couldn't find any updates on this other than being able to confirm that it's not in the hands of UPS. He confirmed I should receive it between 12/22-12/27 and stated that the weight of the package is 97 lbs.
