Mine was also scheduled for Dec. 20th. However I just called Amazon Bulky order Service line and was told they don't have anything in their warehouse, and Amazon is currently negotiating with their supplier to seek for a solution. I was offered $60 per bike as compensation though. The lady who answered the phone told me she never got this issue before during her past 10+ years of experience in the bulky item service center, and Amazon has already escalated this issue as of today. She did help me submit three tickets to the headquarter and ask me to wait for another 72 hours for a response. Let's see what happens next.

Just chatted with Amazon to discuss the screenshot. The rep confirmed that Amazon IS a authorized store and the Rattan note only applies to non-Rattan and non-Amazon 3rd party Sellers. The rep also confirmed that if anything is wrong, Amazon will help.

He also confirmed that the product is returnable within 30 days.

A lot of people are concerned that Rattan won't support this bike because of the discounted price.

Even if you bought this bike at full price direct from Rattan, I wouldn't count on support. Even in good times, many of these small Chinese ebike companies have terrible support. And right now the bike industry as a whole is in the middle of a REALLY tough time (hence the low prices) and many smaller companies are going to go bankrupt.

Many companies produced way too many bikes expecting the 2020 COVID demand spike to continue indefinitely. Now they have too many bikes and not enough buyers. It's gonna take probably almost a year for this "Bike-apocalypse" to play out.

Any help you are going to get (if any at all) is almost certainly going come from Amazon and/or Assurion. But even if you only get two working batteries (13Ah and 20Ah) and a couple of functioning wheels/tires, $411 is a good deal.

Bought a second one for January delivery. Hope it ships. Anyway, Amazon should counter the posting by Rattan, it's embarrassing for them to be accused of being a non-authorized seller when they own the entire marketplace. Makes Amazon look shady.

I got in on the SWFT deal for 220$ last week. The bike is sick and goes 20mph, but the battery only charged to 75%. Customer service was good and sent me out a prepaid label to send the old one back and send me another battery. THIS DEAL….on the other hand is ridiculously cheap. A 750watt fat tire ebike with extra battery for $400 is awesome and you'd be silly to not jump on it. Just ordered one as well! Now I can slowly sell of my Jetson Ebikes that are toys in comparison

If Rattan doesn't honor the manufacturer warranty, I wonder if there would be problems with the Asurion insurance trying to say go to the manufacturer even though the manufacturer won't honor their warranty. Would create an endless loop of blame rendering the Asurion worthless too (at least for a year).

This is so tempting! Read reviews about all these ebikes posted here in the last couple of days, it appears that customers service is not good and that after 3-6mo of usage things start to breakdown (battery does not last, motor issues, etc).

Are there folks here who can comment on their experience after owning it for 6mo+?
Is the Asurion 2 year plan a reliable alternative to the lack of customer support from the manufacturer?

Love to get one, but I do not want to end up with a lemon 6 months later.
