Mine was also scheduled for Dec. 20th. However I just called Amazon Bulky order Service line and was told they don't have anything in their warehouse, and Amazon is currently negotiating with their supplier to seek for a solution. I was offered $60 per bike as compensation though. The lady who answered the phone told me she never got this issue before during her past 10+ years of experience in the bulky item service center, and Amazon has already escalated this issue as of today. She did help me submit three tickets to the headquarter and ask me to wait for another 72 hours for a response. Let's see what happens next.

Just chatted with Amazon to discuss the screenshot. The rep confirmed that Amazon IS a authorized store and the Rattan note only applies to non-Rattan and non-Amazon 3rd party Sellers. The rep also confirmed that if anything is wrong, Amazon will help.

He also confirmed that the product is returnable within 30 days.

Yes, the better value is on the extra battery. I'm just going to get a $7 milk crate and strap it to the back.

Thanks for digging this up. The battery was my only concern and why I was considering the warranty. Good info to know.

Edit: I went through a bunch of reviews regarding scooter batteries and people gave them 1 start saying that it does not cover batteries. So it seems that Asurion insurance is not worth it.

I have a similar bike. These are way bigger than they look, and really heavy, so have those expectations going in. It's an insane deal. I previously bought a similar battery for just about the same price. The fact that this comes with 2 batteries and a bike is just beyond nuts. I'm just hoping it actually gets delivered

I hope you are kidding you can use a milk crate for a basket for pretty close to free. Just remove the seat and strap on milk crate or some other aftermarket basket or paneir. The extra battery is worth over $300!
