A good deal, but the Neo version of this monitor (same size and curvature but brighter and more dimming zones) is only $50 more at $800 and definitely the better buy

I believe that this monitor is similar or the same to this FP thread here: https://slickdeals.net/f/17157319 and is $100 lower.

Slight difference in model number. Not sure how different though. NXZA vs NXDC (this one)

Got this monitor for just under 1K over a year ago. Great monitor. Incredible for productivity, I deal with budgets, forms, and spreadsheets. Nice for gaming too. Although, the 32:9 aspect ratio while cool for gaming, I don't think it's ideal unless you are super into racing games or similar. My favorite is a 3840 x 1600 38inch monitor. Alienware AW3821DW is also one I have for my second office. I think I prefer that over the G9 for gaming more. But productivity G9 is king.

How do you use this for productivity? Do you have a screen splitter to make it separate monitors?

Both Windows and MacOS have built in window managers that help snap windows to specific points on the screen. I had this monitor as well and its equiavlent to a triplehead setup if your monitors were classic 4:3 ratio, so it's a ton of real estate without having to deal with multiple arms/bases.

I will say, if you're super anal about window management, sometimes separate monitors are kind of nice since it's hardware split vs virtually split. If you have to view things that are really wide (i.e. graphs, editing flows etc.) this thing is pretty great. The curve is nice too.

Thanks. I've got the G9 and the resolution is just unusable. I'm sure it's the video card but it stretches everything

Try PowerToys. You can configure the window splits however you want.

There are multiple inputs, I break mine into 2/3 - 1/3 I game on the left at higher refresh and have music or video on the right 1/3. It's like having multiple monitors. I bought the cheaper crg version and is probably my favorite purchase ever. I was running 4 24" monitors before… this is so much cleaner

I second this, got this monitor gently used from a friend for $600 and surprisingly I love this thing for work productivity over a typical dual monitor setup. I work with spreadsheets/pdfs/word docs a lot and prefer to have 3-4 separate files on one screen. I'm considering buying one of the main office.

If you share the screen, can you only share a portion of the screen? In presentation mode, it ain't gonna work for others.
