absolutely INSANE deal. s**ts on every rip off friday/cope monday deal on the same and similar kits from TTI brands. i felt like this was a price error, but i bought this 12 hours ago, it already shipped but they did not change the price. so i guess it was intentional

the next best deal i ever seen on this was also murdochs, it was $300 but included an extra 2 pack of 5ah XR batteries.

Fantastic deal! The two items have gotten a little long in the tooth but are no slouches. I got this exact set a few years ago for $279. The charger doesn't get much use as faster charging is tougher on the batteries.

in theory it shouldn't stress the battery as it slows down to a trickle around 80% charge. at least that's what the marketing says.

the only charger known to damage batteries was the 4amp DCB115 charger. but that charger has been discontinued and replaced by the DCB1104 model. also a 4amp charger but it's 2 stage like this 8amp charger. slows down at 80% full.

yea... definitely don't use that one if you have other options. even dewalt says it damages batteries. for dewalt to admit that something of theirs is bad is equivalent to hell freezing over. they are still blaming users and charge $400 to repair the 60V miter saws that get burned by their poorly designed AC adapter (DCA120). that AC adapter has destroyed 1000+ miter saws over the last 3 years but dewalt still won't recall it or admit a problem

if it's under warranty and you say it's causing your batteries to get hot or not charging all the way, they'll send you a DCB1104 as a replacement. but dewalt is not actively telling people to RMA the chargers because that will be very expensive for them as the DCB115 is one of their most produced charger. might even be their most produced charger currently in circulation

i tried that before but it didn't work. but now it's working. fudge. lol.

the other way to do it is to first type some gibberish into the promo code. it will say invalid and offer 10% off. once that's applied add the green20 code. now they seem to stack.

I bought the Oscillating tool before the 10% off trick got posted. At least took advantage here.

only way to cancel is to call.

make a second order, then tomorrow call to cancel your first order. they usually ship next day anyway.
