The pale gray color is the worst for backlighting because the backlighting really does not get very visible from this. Kind of blends into the pale grey. It is not a big deal for people with good vision but for those expecting the backlight to be helpful it will not be.

Mx keys are their branded low profile mechanical? Is it quiet?

Looking for a backup for gaming and productivity white keyboard
I used to have one of these. Like was mentioned already it is scissor switched and can confirm it's quiet and feels good.

However FYI this isn't a white keyboard, it's grey. Even the keys that appear to be white are actually light grey. It will not match accessories that are more of a true white (such as many of their mice). The Apple magic keyboard does true white keys just fine so I have no idea why they didn't go real white for the keys.

White plastic can be problematic with yellowing. Does your keyboard, mouse and monitor need to match that closely? Grey should coordinate with most devices. K380 comes in white, if it is a must. I think they were aiming for greys because it works with devices from all camps.

Lmao no need to get defensive. Some of yall get weird about electronics preferences. The person said they wanted a white keyboard, and I simply pointed out that this is not a white keyboard.

The white version tends to yellow after a few months of sweating on it. Just FYI.
What about the keyboard ? Any yellow-ness issue with it too ?

The yellow is more apparent on the rubber part not the plastic.

Can you connect another Logitech mouse to the keyboard dongle? I have a Logitech Pebble M350 mouse. That I would like to connect to the keyboard.

The keyboard description says,"The keyboard is not compatible with other Logitech USB receivers."

So I'm wondering if the keyboard can't connect to other receivers, can other devices connect to the keyboard receiver?

Yes - it's super easy and intuitive - you just download the logitech unifier app and you can manage the dongle up to 6 devices.

I was about to buy but decided not to after reading reviews. Biggest flaw is that it cannot be used at all when charging.

I thought the receiver with this did not work with the unifier dongle and those devices.

There are versions of this keyboard that use the Unifying receiver and there are others that use Bolt receiver. They are not interchangeable although the Bolt receiver will connect to multiple Bolt devices. You just need to make sure which version you are buying if this matters to you.

Not mechanical. Scissor switch style but it's EXCELLENT. Essentially silent. One of the reasons I love it for the office. I got "heavy fingers" and I can really go at it with the numpad on some days.
Dang, naming it "MX" when MX Cherry is the name of a mechanical switch brand is kind of (maybe unintentionally) misleading. My wife never wants to go back from mechanical after I introduced her to the ergonomic wonders of them. I'll see if my local best buy has one to try before I try to get this for her for Christmas. She's really wanted to replace her wired keyboard with a wireless one, but has turned down everything that wasn't mechanical.

You can check out the "MX Mechanical" line.

Sadly, they don't have their full MX wireless in white. I went to try this specific keyboard in person. She wouldn't like it. Also, Best buy didn't have it on sale when I went, which kind of sucked as well. Lol
