Might have to grab that Cyberpunk bundle though… and MK1.

Not sure how your anecdote has anything to do with what I said.
Objectively speaking 33% off a game with a base price of >$30 is better than $10 off a game with a base price of >$14.99.
Unless of course you're buying something that has a base price of >$14.99 and <$30. Then yeah, the latter is better.
I do love my Steam Deck, but have to say as much as I love that it runs Linux, some games have problems running and its not performance that's the problem. I've had games that perform perfectly fine, but then crash too frequently. Messing around with Proton-GE, etc sometimes solves it, sometimes doesn't. Maybe I'll install Windows at some point, but that's just not going to be as nice as the Steam OS UI.
Uh no it's not. I've had a steamdeck since launch. Aint no way spiderman looks the same on steam deck as it does on ps4 and ESPECIALLY not ps4 pro.
Many people like to overestimate the power of the steam deck. It really does not live up to expectations if you're targeting AAA games.
I'm not too concerned which launcher it's on since in reality I seem to prefer buying games over actually playing them...

You can stream from your console tho. But if you're gonna do that there's cheaper options.
It's nice having the option to play older or less demanding games locally on the Steam deck, or stream from your PC with modern AAA games if you need to offload the graphics.
I won't disagree with this.
But at the new OLED price point I feel the value is no longer there as compared to the previous $399 price
