The only annoying (or might be a bonus for some, IDK) thing is this version has a fingerprint sensor and no face ID. That said if you use the registered finger to turn it on, it'll log you in automatically.
Overall though, aside from some personal nitpicks, I don't think this beats the HP. But it still is a great deal that I don't think you'll regret. This is a very smartly put together machine.
I have the 14X version and albeit a bit compromised in terms of battery and performance, as a whole it really is a joy to use. I personally prefer the 14X due to its larger screen and face ID but at $630 I'll say I wouldn't regret buying this either.
So far my impression:
It gives 8 to 8.5 hr battery with light use. But it has feature to stop charging at 80% to preserve battery life and I have it on.
I have never heard fan go off so that's nice. It does not get hot on my lap. No wifi issues.
Keyboard is very good, no errors in typing and no flex.
Touchpad is good, but sometimes the number pad comes up on the touchpad when I don't want it to
Overall build quality is good except, just recently the bottom panel is making crackling noise when I pick it up; not sure what's causing that.
The OLED display is excellent and my dell 4k monitor looks so much less impressive in comparison. Due to the touchscreen I don't like the appearance of graininess as some call it noticeable with white/bright backgrounds. But I'm getting used to it. Watching movies it's not issue but even on slickdeals or other sites where background is white it's just not that aesthetically appearing.
I'm debating return/rebuy or maybe going w different OLED laptop. Really once you get OLED laptop I'm not sure you want to get anything else.

I am not sure but I think that graininess you are describing has to do with some oled screens and not the touchscreen.
Edit: apparently it is on some touchscreen OLEDs, mostly afflicting Asus laptops (possibly others).
