Mazda is having a hard time moving inventory. I bought a new CX-5 Signature at the peak of the pandemic shortages with 0.9% financing and $1000 below MSRP.

I absolutely love the car. As absurd and silly as this sounds, it's far more Cayenne than RAV-4. My only complaint is that gas mileage is mediocre to poor.

One thing i've learned in life is, once you make a large purchase, like a house or car, etc. Just stop looking and researching, you'll only be disappointed

LOL, for those not familiar,

Wheel locks should cost about $30
Interior Lighting about $35
Rear Bumper Guard around $9
Cargo Cover around $100

The markup on those items is insane!
Please show me one invoice where they charge under $200 for wheel locks.

Porsche charges 600 for interior lighting and it's 5 LEDs lol

Ford, GM, Stellantis brands all charge that much > $200 for locking nuts
Porsche charges $440

That being said... Never ever option this stuff from the dealer obviously lol

But what you said... Is just reality these days. If your surprised by that, just go click around on options on Porsche and be prepared to be floored by floor mats that are over $800 Wink

Don't make statements WITHOUT knowing ANYTHING...they do make the CX9
2023 was the last model year for the CX-9. They were replaced by the 2024 CX-90.

Exactly, I would have went this route because I loved my Mazda 3.
Although, it was far too small, but worked great for just me which was majority of its drive time.

I opted for a Ford Maverick hybrid and will see what Mazda has again in a few years.

I mean you always have the option to go aftermarket.

Not to mention you can generally find dealers online that sell closer to invoice on parts then the full retail you see here. To bag some good savings join a few related forums, you can almost always snag group buy or discounts from site vendors.

Reality is most people are too lazy to look around LMAO

but this one gets 0% financing and without have to deal with risks, also a long warranty than a used. one.
The warranty would apply just the same for say something with 2-5k miles. You can even still purchase a legit Mazda extended warranty at that point if you really need that peace of mind.

Keep in mind 0% isn't even actually 0% you are paying for that perk upfront.

Fine print always shows "$21.73 (whatever random number they decide) for every $1000 financed."

23/31 gas mileage?? For a small SUV in 2024 that's way too crappy.. And not I'm not some crazy EV lover.
I regularly get 34-37 highway mpg out of my wifes 19 Mazda CX-5. I would say they are very modestly rated. You can for sure do worse if you are constantly "ZOOM-ZOOM-ing."

Curious why they never seem to have these offers for CX9. I'm assuming they're more popular?
CX9 is discontinued. Too early for the Cx-90 to go on discount. They were doing mad discounts on CX-9 leases this time last year - I got MF 0.00012 and $2k off MSRP.

I fully expect the '25 CX70 being unveiled next year to be a hybrid (which will be bigger than the CX5) . Will use the same powertrain as the CX90 which is a hybrid.

Don't underestimate the CX-5. It's been out a while, but still impresses. Very sporty drive for an SUV. We have a '21 2.5T CX-5 and its very quick.
