First time long time so be kind!

Mazda is currently offering 0% interest until the end of December. $500 off auto if you already own a Mazda but of course negotiate more!

I recently just purchased mine and the last time I saw it low was 10 years ago when I got my Mazda 3

You do not need to put anything down. I personally did 2k just to get some credit points.

Mazda is having a hard time moving inventory. I bought a new CX-5 Signature at the peak of the pandemic shortages with 0.9% financing and $1000 below MSRP.

I absolutely love the car. As absurd and silly as this sounds, it's far more Cayenne than RAV-4. My only complaint is that gas mileage is mediocre to poor.
Premiun Plus
MSRP (negotiable) $36,500.00

Lug Nuts and Wheel Locks (negotiable) $225.00

Interior Lighting Kit (negotiable) $350.00

Rear Bumper Guard (negotiable) $135.00

Cargo Cover (negotiable) $250.00

Delivery Fee (non-negotiable) $1,375.00

Total Sticker Price $38,835.00

Friends and Family discount -$2,600.00
Mazda Loyalty discount -$500.00
Total Price of Car (This probably where your bread and butter is in terms of where you can negotiate) $35,735.00

Sales Tax (obviously non-negotiable) $2,263.73
Doc Fee (admitted probably on the high side, maybe negotiable) $499.00
Title Fee (non-negotiable) $75.00
Inspection Fee (non-negotiable) $35.00
Registration Fee (non-negotiable) $60.00
$38,667.73 (All these mandatory fees added basically equals the total list price haha)

I asked for free weather mats and got it at the end

Might be worth asking for a few extra free oil change coupons as well
One thing i've learned in life is, once you make a large purchase, like a house or car, etc. Just stop looking and researching, you'll only be disappointed

I am going to call today. My daughter has a 2023 Hyundai Tuscon so I asked if the remote start was only free for 3 years like the Hyundai and he replied that Mazda did away with that and it would stay free. Looking at the website I do think he is wrong. I don't think he lied I think he didn't know, he was a nice guy but spent like 10 minutes trying to set up my wireless apple play only to finally realize it wasn't wireless in my car. I usually do more home work before going to the dealer but was a bit rushed with the end of year sale.
I've had my 2019 Mazda 3 for 4 years and the remote start via the app still works. They stated 3 yrs when I purchased it so I think your salesman may be right. Ill take it for free as long as I can get it.

Just saw a Cx-5 I liked but it has 172 miles on it. When asked dealer said it was a trade. Does that sound legit? I went into communications menu and it was paired to Jose's phone. DEaler said that was probably the guy transporting it so he could use GPS/waze.

Better get a different one.. I test drove multiple CX5 same trim at different dealers. Worst one had 190 miles.. It was new but I guess too many people test drove it. I could feel issue within first 5 mins. Dealer was ready to go down on price for this particular one. I chose a different one.

Ok cool.

I did finally call the dealer again and the auto start on the App at this point does not have to be paid for at the end of 3 years. I guess I will find out for sure in three years.

Were you able to get the VIN etching fee completely off? If so what did you say?

I ended up cancelling deal on way to dealer and went with oak lawn. Zero add ons. Same price but I liked the salesman more.

Our dealer said they had to offer it but it's a waste of time so they don't have anyone ever request it. So... No charge

Anyone know if this will be extended next month? I am still undecided. MPG is mostly the concern since I drive 100 miles roundtrip to work.

Better get some hybrid or battery car. Using non turbo and getting around 24 in city. I love the car but with that much mileage(assuming daily) hybrid is best

It is all about how people test drove the car. There's a difference between New car and a new car that multiple folks abused.

Hi. Got the CX5 CE 2 weeks back and noticed that the drivers seat is rubbing against the center console and can feel the seat scratching against the console when making any adjustments. The passeger side seat has about an inch distance from the console. Is this how it is designed to be or should I ask the dealer about it?

I was baffled when I look at the CX90 mpg specs (inline6). That car was specd slightly better than the CX50 turbo even though it is a heavier car and bigger engine/hp. Later found out that the CX90 inline6 is a mild hybrid. I wish they had implemented something similar with current version CX50 before going full hybrid which we don't know will be released.

test-drove cx-5 non-turbo and turbo, and cx-50. I like CX-50 better. However, both cx-5 turbo and cx-50 had some burning smells when I exited the freeway and waited at a red light.

Normal for most vehicles.

My Prius did the same thing for a couple of days.

Look for oil drips under the car and excess oil under the hood.

Usually, it is something on the manifold/exhaust during assembly and is normal if it goes away.

Sometimes it is a wax type substance used to stop rust during shipment.

I complained to my dealer, and they said wait a few days. They were 100% correct!
