It's back again for $379 - based on the event a few days ago - it may last only a few minutes until the slickdeals hug-o-death brings it back to $450/500 for a day or so...

Just got mine delivered yesterday, wished they shipped it in a box to protect the corners of the product box...

Ha ha - Me too! I was afraid the standard 47mm would look odd on my wrist...luckily its ok...gifting the 42mm to the better half...the 42mm pro from the Walmart deal is a better value (assuming the 42mm fits your wrist better) it has better sensors and larger memory (32gb vs 16gb) but shorter battery life.

the Pro has much better battery life and it comes in smaller sizes. This one just has a pretty screen

The pro is the better deal/watch unless you really need the bigger screen

I think the pro from Walmart also had a sapphire screen which is impressively scratch resistant

The Pro has the same (47mm) or less (42mm) battery life unless you get the 51mm.

Not really -- In smart watch mode, the 42mm gets 10 days, 47mm gets 16 days, 51mm gets 31 days...

Yes really, the 47mm Epix Gen 2 gets 16 days as well. They have exactly the same battery life.

I purchased this watch from Bike Closet. Shipping was quick and the item is brand-new. I like it. I realized that this watch even has multi-GPS which I thought the standard version doesn't. I plan to purchase a dark cover since it is shiny for us, service members, in the field. This is an upgrade for me from a runner 245.
