I took brand new pairs of 4DFWD 2s, NMD V3s and Ultraboost 22s to Disneyland as a test and the at the towards the end of the day the 4DFWD 2s were a lot easier to walk in and my legs felt less fatigued. The Ultraboost 22s were great and the NMD V3s were not. The 4DFWD 2s were definitely stiffer in the beginning but they are my favorites now.
Thank you!
I have ordered the Switch FWD. I think the soles should be the same for 4D vs Switch FWD. I read in reviews that the Switch FWD needs to be broken in by about 30 to 50 miles depending on person's weight but are that they are more springy than cushiony and great for running.
How are 4DFWD compared to UltraBoost in terms of comfort and cushioning?

Doesn't compare to ultraboost. I'd say a bit firmer (if you prefer that) and slightly lower tier than the UB but otherwise better than other models I've tried from adidas

Yeah, thanks for the response!
It aligns with the review I read that the FWD shoes have to be broken in.

This is spot on. I'm wondering if it's because I'm losing some of the kinetic energy when wearing the boost compared to the 4d as they feel similarly cushiony for me but I feel less fatigued walking around in the 4d afterwards.
I returned my 4D4WD's from the last deal that was on them because of the reviews about the fabric tearing open easily. Also not as comfortable as my Ultraboost's in terms of the cushion and fabric. I'm not sure if newer Ultraboosts also use this new recycled material with the bad reviews.

I was able to see the $63 price by the way.

Another comment above suggests that the sole is stiff.
