It's usually up or down for sagging doors not in/out like this does. Also main thing for added security would be longer screws if plate is thick enough but for wooden doors the slab usually will fail before latch side will if not reinforced by plate, metal ones are different story.

Same here! Hopefully this will fix my door with electronic deadbolt I have to pull for the motor to be able to lock/unlock.
Also, many times you can adjust your standard plate with a flathead screwdriver, there is a metal tab in the hole that you can bend out. Works, but entry doors sometimes can bend that back, but on interior doors that rattle, it's a few second free fix.
I've encountered several doors in several different houses where the strike plate isn't long enough to go around the frame. Looks like these would solve that... I wouldn't really even think to use something like this for an outdoor door... Just make that right and secure
