Did anyone actually get this deal? I'm sure they're clearing old stock with the 7000 series TRs out, but still seems like a price mistake

I saw it for that price and I hesitated. Did anyone get one at that price? Trying to not beat myself up for hesitating.

I did pull the trigger.
CPU alone is $2.8k, so seemed like a good deal.

Was looking for a home server for running multiple VMs, TrueNAS, NVR, media, self hosting stuff.

Thoughts on the use case? This is a GPU workstation, but it seems like it has all that a server might need -- has a tons of PCIe lanes, IPMI, tons of capable cores, ECC.

Also, does anyone know if the chassis/case can accept more than 4x 3.5 HDDs? The manual doesn't mention if additional drive cages can be purchase, and if additional mounting points for them exist.

I do have a Define 7 XL case where I can hopefully transfer everything if I need to, but I really like the looks of this Supermicro case.
