2 issues we had so far, one is after a couple of years it started to drip when it's at the On position. 2nd is it would get stuck once in a while (nothing comes out of the nozzle or very slow), we found out that there is a little spring in the mechanism (hard to explain here) needs to be cleaned and stretched (found that solution on YT). Otherwise it's been great for our use.
De'Longhi isn't a no name Chinese brand. It's a well known and popular Italian brand.

This is my first espresso machine and wondering which one to go to.
Thanks.
It will take a little effort reading about coffee if you don't want to waste money.

Anyone have any feedback on whether it's better to buy an espresso machine like a Breville Barista with an integrated grinder vs separate units, i.e. an espresso machine like this with a higher end grinder on the side?

The crema this machine produces is actually quite good using the pressurized basket at 15 bars of pressure. If you start with this then move on to higher end 9 bar machines with non-pressurized baskets you should be able to learn some of the basics before getting into grinding.
If you are not a coffee nerd, this is still a great machine to get you great tasting coffee as long as you tamp properly.
PSA don't use Starbucks "espresso" in this. It is not espresso grind and will not work.
