Has this been coming in stock for anyone? Everytime I check it's Out of Stock (but available to place an order). For anyone that placed an order, has anyone's been shipped? How long was the wait?
This is the best value for $1000 (and probably all the way under $1300) we've seen this holiday season. The only true value competitor to this is the $700 MSI from Walmart.
In other words, the choice for a non-high end gaming PC this year is simple: Based on your needs and budget, either this or the $700 MSI from Walmart (if it comes back in stock).

Would this one be worth +$300 over the Walmart one, if the intention would be to keep it for at least 3+ years and be able to keep up with future games?
I'm used to a dell xps with no video card being really quiet. Any idea how loud this will be ? I haven't had a video card in awhile and my last AMD card was like a jet engine.

I don't think so. If you don't need the faster CPU or the larger RAM or the faster graphics right now and are just looking to future-proof the gaming capability, then no. Because three years from now for $300ish you'll be able to buy a next-gen card which will potentially give you a better improvement than the 10-20% gain you would get right now. (And still have the original 4060 to resell to pay for the upgrade).

Great, thanks for your input. Let's see if I can convince my son!

Id say the best 1000.00 machine, although the psu is a little low for future proofing, if you want a bigger gpu in the future, probably going to have to upgrade psu.
This poster and I had posted a few 1100-1400 dollar machines from cyberpower during blackfriday which were unicorns, ryzen 7600-78003xd, 32 gig ddr 5, 850 watt psu, liquid cooling, 7800xt gpu's. I kept swinging by there to see if they offer anything similar, but nada.

I was thinking the same thing. I was surprised when I saw the quality parts in this rig!
