Just went on the Majestic Princess in September. The actual cruise was awesome. Excellent service, accommodations, and the food is great in the specialty restaurants and the dining room. The buffet is Golden Corral like, I'm sorry, that's an insult...to Golden Corral. However, the app is awful. You can check the rating. Also customer service on the phone is a nightmare.

It's very typical, even when it's "free" they end up charging more for other guests, or they make it look like they are adjusting the prices but you end up paying a lot of taxes on top.
One example with another cruise line was showing $750 per person for a cabin, when I booked 3 people (two adults one kid) it ended up costing $3200.. and this is with "kids sail free" or "50% off 3rd guest" etc etc.. options. Cruise lines have gone insane, especially during holidays.

Yeah I get the times where you still have to pay the taxes. I've wanted to go on another cruise for a while but the prices are crazy expensive lately. I'll just patiently wait it out.

Is the crowd on this cruise line ideal for a bachelor?

They're still there. I went on two RC cruises this fall. 7 days/inside less than $500 before fees and a $25 OBC. Went again during Turkey Week for 5 days. $560 balcony and $100 OBC

Did you use a travel agent? I haven't seen prices that and would love any info you can provide. Thanks!
