Forget about the extra helix/premium currency when making a decision. On AC Odyssey and Fenyx, those currencies can be earned in game for doing side missions. They are cosmetic only items. Albeit quite good looking cosmetics, but optional nonetheless.
In AC Origins, the helix credits are harder to acquire.
I'm interested to get my kids into Greek mythology. They know nothing of it. Is this a way to get them familiar with Greek characters?
Or is it too off?
It definitely takes some liberties, and analyzes the behavior of Greek gods through a modern lens. Pissed off a lot of gaming nerds, but was actually pretty funny. Lots of sex jokes, though, so might not be totally appropriate for young kids?
Damn Ubisoft. I have been playing Fenyx Rising through Game Pass and recently bought the Season Pass for the DLC, for $11. Now they are selling the whole game with all the stuff for $15. Now I should stop spending on anything and only focus on free games through GPU, which are more than enough for me to play. If I spend again, I will probably regret it.

Gamepass is a leasing of games. It has advantages as well as disadvantages. You get to survey games u may or may not like, so u would save in case u hate a game. But yes, when games are end of life(EOL), they tend to get real cheap. The disadvantage is u would have to wait after the game goes out of fashion to get it cheap. Or if the game isn't as successful they make up with price.
I wouldn't regret the Gamepass. By the time it was introduced however I already owned so many games it wasn't worth having a subscription. But I probably would do Gamepass and enjoy games while they are on there. When one game is gone, they will be sure to add new games to it. Otherwise Gamepass will flop. They need that equilibrium to sustain the program so u will always get new games on while they unload on old others.
It's the same with digital subscriptions like Netflix. They get time rentals on their platforms.

No, I don't regret getting GamePass, just the Fenyx Rising Season Pass I bought last week. I like the base game and spent 100+ hours on it. The Season Pass costs $12 but now I can get everything at $15 (and a $5 GC), including the base game I don't own, as well as couple other bonuses.
Luckily, I just got the refund from MS and will get this deal tonight.
On the other hand, though, very buggy DLC for this game.

Are there two conditions for the $5? Do we need to follow up or do they follow up with us?
" Customers will receive promotional Xbox gift cards via Direct Deposit into the Microsoft Account from which the game was purchased -and- a follow-up message via Xbox Live Chat Message within 35 days of purchase containing confirmation for receipt of funds as well as any other related promotional items the customer is entitled to."
They state must be redeemed even though it's direct deposit? What? And used by a certain date or they will pull it? That's A LOT of stipulations.
I decided to wait when I don't have to calculate so much.

It's not per game???

Is Fenyx gold worth it for $9.99 after redeeming?
