I think there are still-live deals on just the speakers in the walnut finish (search "Jamo speakers" on this site). They don't appear to come with a receiver, but they are cheaper than this set.
Note: I saw a review saying the walnut color is just a sticker and it had started to peel after a few months. Black may be the same--not sure-- but you can at least color bare spots in with a sharpie if needed down the line.
If the center bar only carries dialogue (which isn't the case with Atmos as it drives dialogue into the left and right), why do they have to be so vertically tall? I'm not trying to raise my TV higher so i end up looking up instead of straight.

Good to know that it's just a sticker lol. I thought it was wood.
And yeah I tried adding the walnut speakers separately and with the receiver the total price is a lot higher than this $700 set.

Do they ever do this bundle but with a 7.1.2 or 7.2.2 configurations? Really looking for basically this type of budget bundle with Jamo speakers but 7.1.2 capable receiver (which I don't believe this is).
Anyone know if it would be problematic to order this and return everything but the receiver?
Already ordered and set up the previous adorama deal that excludes the receiver, so I would just be doing a return on the original purchase (but it would actually be this set being returned minus the receiver)

Since you have to pay to return shipping, that's a shot in the dark. I can try asking a customer rep with the same question because I really don't want to shell out $100? In return costs
Does this come with all the plugs and wires to make it work or do i have to buy my own?
Raw setups like these usually don't come with them. You have to supply your own 14 gauge speaker wire and use banana plug adapters. That's no problem for people who already have it because..well..you should since you can use the cables forever but for people like you and me, that is an extra $45 lol

There are cheaper options such as copper covered aluminum wire (CCA), but everything I read suggested the pure copper wire is superior and less prone to failure. Not sure how true that is, but it seemed worth the extra $20.
