0w-16 is such a random newer weight, it always makes me double take…I do wonder if it'd be ok in a 0w-20 application, they're so close.

0w-16 is the "7 minute abs" of the oil world.

What if someone comes up with 0w-15?!

Scotty Kilmer is the click bait king of YouTube. Watch the entire 10 minute video., you get maybe 30 seconds of what is said in the title. The rest is just fillers of unrelated topics. I stopped watching him a long time ago.

RE 0w-16. No date, but there is something printed on the bottle. I can't really make it out. I will note, the bottles were very dusty and the sticker labels were curling and slightly peeling off. No doubt this stock is old. Been sitting around for awhile. And for reference, I ordered 6 online. The store called and said they only have 5. I said I'd still take the order. When I got to the store, they refunded me for one bottle.
If you take a photo of the print, you might be able to read it after enlarging the photo

You could check your car's manual to see what's the alternate oil for the 0w-20.
Actually you need to check your cars manual for other countries to check what your car SHOUlD be using, absent of EPA requirements.

I think for my Toyota US manual says something like 0w20, where just about anywhere else says 0w 30 or something.

Well, the new Toyota Crown uses 0W-8 oil lmao

By this logic, the next step would be 0W-4 weight oil
Next just spraying WD-40 in the crankcase will be fine. Stick Out Tongue

Scored 10 x 10w30 extended performance 75000 mile for $20. Thanks op
Most portable generators have splash lubricated chonda engines which call for 10w30 conventional or 5w30 full syn making this an excellent choice. I drove to the store instead of calling and did a pm to the web site.

Can we use the 10w-30 on euro cars that use 5w-30/5w-40/0w-40?

Same with me; online showed in stock, but they called me after I placed the order and told me they couldn't find any on the shelf.

Scotty Kilmer says that if you put this in your car you're an idiot and it will destroy it.

Also, the government took his house, cars and dog, EVs suck, and America is over.

LMAO
Also, wasn't the world suppose to end as we know it yesterday?

Fortunately or unfortunately for some pessimistic people, this week unemployment is lowest in history, the economy and stock market is best it has been in about a decade, inflation is going down to 3% and I got gas for $2.83 per gallon which I can't even remember when it was below $3 per gallon maybe about 10 years ago?
I guess those doomsday people will be right someday but I have not seen it in my lifetime and I am old.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

It's mainly a Toyota and Lexus application. Half the lineup now use 0W16 on their 4 cylinder engines. The Toyota Crown uses 0W8 and some Corolla also.
