0w-16 is such a random newer weight, it always makes me double take…I do wonder if it'd be ok in a 0w-20 application, they're so close.

0w-16 is the "7 minute abs" of the oil world.

What if someone comes up with 0w-15?!

Scotty Kilmer is the click bait king of YouTube. Watch the entire 10 minute video., you get maybe 30 seconds of what is said in the title. The rest is just fillers of unrelated topics. I stopped watching him a long time ago.

Had orders at two stores showing inventory cancelled. The second store even told me they just called the first store and I should go there to get the order filled!

Second store filled the order for 6 with the High Mileage product instead.

My gas was $0.929/gallon. Not just a fluke, many stations in the area were at or under $1.00. I have timestamped photo proof, I just can't attach it because I'm on the mobile app. Next time I use my PC I'll attach it.

As was just about everyone's here in the states because that was the time period where the OPEC cartel flooded the market with cheap oil to bankrupt North American suppliers while demand was wiped out by Covid lockdowns. OPEC members can pump oil for a long time at a low production cost and don't have to rely upon expensive methods of production like many of the North American producers do (Canada's oil sands, for example). It's almost like there are countries other than the United States that have an impact on what energy prices are and as a result it doesn't matter who is in the White House.

Where did I say anything about the White House or the sweet & sour sicken?

According to Statista [statista.com], this is the opposite of what happened. OPEC production was highest 2016-2018, dropped exceptionally to 17 yr low in 2020, rose in 2021 and 2022 and is back to about 20 yr average production rate. Prices are 50% above the 2016-2019 average. US oil production rose steadily 2016-2019, dropped in 2020, and is just now getting back to 2019 levels. US refinery activity appears to have dropped in 2020 and not increased much since.

My inventory is empty.
What lowest price can I expect to pay at Costco for the Kirkland oil during sale?
When do they typically have the sale?

Seems like your information is a bit old. https://www.forbes.com/sites/rrap...on-record/
We're at the highest oil production levels ever.

That's what I said, just now back to previous levels. Forbes projects 2023 overall to be a little below 2019. More accurate to say your information is a bit too new.

There is no 0w-15 oil. However there is 0w-8 already existing and can be ordered from some brands

No it's 0w-16! Not Ow-15! Why would anyone want Ow-15?

Mine takes 0w20. If I buy one can of 0w16 and one of 10w30, will I get 5w20+?
