Is this a good price? I remember seeing one at $750 couple months back.
These were $1100 last year and were a great deal then.
It has a great key bed, and feels very piano like with its weighted keys. It is very well built, and one of the few keyboards in this class that has built in speakers (though, they're pretty much for personal playing, they won't fill a small venue, you'd need amplification/PA for that).
It's an excellent piano because it's got Roland Zen Core technology in it, which opens it up to thousands of different sounds. You can purchase some additional sound packs as well.
If I didn't already have a Yamaha YC-88, I would jump on this deal.
Any recommendations for a decent/appropriate speaker to use with this? Tia
It's really a question of what/where/how you intend to use this? There's no single "this is best" as every scenario is going to have a different requirement.
Are you playing in your church? Outside? For 20 people in a restaurant? Or in front of 3,500 people in a small arena?
Your use case is going to drive what's appropriate.
If you're just playing in your living room at home to sing Christmas carols with the family, the built-in speakers are adequate.
Love this keyboard. Got it at the height of pandemic for 1500 so this is a steal
Lot of companies were marking up products because of the "stimulus" checks. It's why these companies also had there stock prices reach records highs. Not sure what company is affiliated with Roland but these are really discounts per say. But then again, I guess the market decides what there will to pay so more power to the people I guess.
