It requires batteries, I think 3 or 4 AAs.
The light is on a timer with no option to always stay on.
The LEDs are nice but have terrible placement, they should've spent the extra 4 cents to add one more because there are noticable light and dim areas.
The stand on this is a joke.
I believe it's much smaller than the OG.
It's cold - the OG had a filament bulb and was metal so it'd get nice and warm, this version is cold plastic.
It's not terrible for $6 though. I imagine if the OG one was still being made it'd likely be $50.
