I showed up today to pick up the order early because I wasn't sure if it would still be in stock during my pickup time tomorrow. One other guy I had never seen before was there with a flatbed cart. There were a couple of TVs left. We helped each other load our carts with our separate TVs. It is gigantic!
I checked out before the other guy and went out to my car. I opened the back hatch and realized it would not fit unless I unbox the TV. As I was doing so, a couple of different people walked by me and asked if I needed help. I wasn't sure yet if I needed help, and so I told them that I could probably take care of it.
Then, the other guy from the store that I had helped load his flatbed walked past me and said "Hey, if you want, I can load yours into my truck, follow you to your house, and drop it off. " Wow! I had no idea someone would be so kind. I told him that I lived farther away than he probably would want to go. He said he lived in a town that was only about 10 or 15 minutes from where I lived. And he said he could help me.
I said okay, we loaded both of the TVs into his truck, he followed me to my house, we unloaded mine, and then he went on his way. I was so surprised how kind he was, and how nice it was for him to take time to do this.
People are really genuinely kind sometimes.
For skeptics who might say I was too trustworthy: I had his phone number and license plate. And I just got a good vibe from him. I hope he realized what a kind act that was. It makes me want to pay it forward.
If I'm not going OLED, I'd rather have a VA panel over an ADS panel. Lastly, the 2023 QN90C utilizes an ADS panel.

could I buy it at my store w inventory non discount? go to store 20 mins away that discounts it to 991, say im returning, or price adjust?

GO TO THE OTHER STORE WITH THE TV in truck, get the price adjustment at the cheaper store. they will honor it, they don't want that tv at their store. if they say no, say ok here's your tv from the over expensive store
1. buy 2k tv.
2. drive it to store where is sold out @ 991
3. say I want price refund for 1200 dollars. if they say no, then return it if they say no. they have too accept it 90 day returns. doesn't have to go to original store
4. they will adjust it, bc they don't want that stupid tv.
smart as hell imo. bc they will just put it on shelf @ 991 anyway. I kinda want too, but I'm actually happy w my 82 inch q6 tv its actually really good for me. would be hassle to try and sell it.
