    Got one a couple year ago. By far the best stand I have ever used. Really a lot better than the majority of the options out there. It's worth the extra cost.

    I got one of these used during the summer. It was in like-new condition from Amazon for around $30. I figured it was the only way I would even consider paying that much for a stand…

    This month is my first time using it and I would probably pay full price for one based on the convenience it provides and the build quality. It made putting up our tree a breeze and took minutes compared to previous years. Definitely less arguing.

    We had all sorts, some with bolts, some others that had various other contraptions. None were as good as this one. This makes it so easy to get the tree up and aligned. We have never had a tree tilt or fall with this stand. Worth the money.

    Wish this was for the smaller size. The trees I find in Colorado rarely have a thick enough trunk to be held by the 7-8' cheaper stands. Ideally I'd like a 6' tree and it might work from farm trees but wild trees are super skinny.

    We had the OOOOLD school metal stand with 4 bolts like we had in the 80s the first year we had a live tree in 2015. Amazon shows I bought this stand twice. The first time was in 2016 for $75, but then I returned it new in box. Presumably because I felt it was too expensive and convinced my wife that another stand I'd found for around $40 would be great. We had that "auto leveling" stand for 5 years. You'd put the tree trunk in thimble-piece and screw it in, then put that thimble piece in the main base where it could ratchet and tilt around. The whole thing put the tree a good 6" or so higher off the ground, which was tough with 8 foot ceilings. And then it sounded like it was going to snap something off half the time when you were trying to ratchet it around and level it. And was a pain to actually get level at all.

    The SECOND time I purchased the Krinner XXL was in 2021 for $109, according to my Amazon history, and I've never regretted it one bit. Just wish I'd listen to my wife back in 2016 and kept that one for $75 and saved the years of fighting that other stand to save $30 or $40.

    We use our XXL with 7.5' trees, and it works great. I love that it doesn't jack the tree way up off the ground, either. Very little height added.

    No, it won't spin on command but I found that once I have the tree locked in I can spin the stand easily to find the best side.

    As others mentioned, just buy it. I paid a fortune for this years ago and have never regretted it.

    We usually get 6' trees and just need a new stand. Seems like overkill, but thinking the "up to" means it will work. Thoughts?

    Bought this at a local harware store for full price and was pissed at myself for spending that much money on a tree stand, but totally worth it at that price and especially at this price. If you put up live trees this is a game changer and buy it now even if you have a tree up and use it next yesr

    How thin of a trunk can this handle? We cut our own trees on national forest land, but this means the trunks are often kind of skinny compared to farmed trees.

    Our current screw style stand often needs to be shimmed which is a pain in the butt.
