AAAs suck (unless you desire the ability to swap out NiMH ones), but going from not owning a headlight to owning one is a game changer for working in the dark, especially in the winter - well worth $3.06. And kids love these.
50 lumens is better than holding a flashlight in your teeth, and 200 lumens worth of glare can be blinding close up. You absolutely want the tilt function.

I have these. I prefer that they are not rechargeable since alkalines have about a 10 year shelf life. They work great for running or for just leaving in the car for an emergency. Just remember to put some paper between one battery and a terminal to prevent the battery from leaking.
