200 lumens is pretty good for supplemental light but not for pitch black environments.

I have these and they're plenty bright and work great. I wouldn't want them any brighter tbh as I'd be going through batteries quicker.

My friend has a couple of these zip tied to his zero turn to act as makeshift headlights. My friend said they work well for that purpose. I, err my friend, also likes how you can change the batteries without removing the zip tie or band.

These may not look like much and 200 lumen number may not be very impressive.
But I encourage everyone to have a something like these in several places around the house; in your backpack, in your car, near your porch, etc.
Headlamps come in very handy in those moments when you need them.

Great combo and even better price for items to give to your kids. More than bright enough for what they would need when camping or in a power outage, but no need to worry that they'll lose or break nice ones. A built-in, rechargeable battery would be better for regular use, but these can be "recharged" instantly with readily available AAA batteries, even when they've just been stuck in a drawer for a year.
