Why the name calling? What do they have to gain by lying? I have 3 of these and I know one of them I did a trade in for a new device and received the credits. Still waiting for the promo to be applied to my 4th one.
I'm sure the reps get incentives and bonuses for new customers/lines they signup. That's enough for them to lie.
I got on a bunch of these a few years ago as well as the insider 20% off. Currently have 7 lines on magenta max for $113 a month. I'm only using 3 of them. The other 4 SIM cards are sitting in a kitchen drawer. At this point it's not worth the $35 activation for another SIM card to sit in a drawer.

If you have the old insider then it's worth it to consider getting a BOGO line and "pay for" another line to bump you to 9+ lines Magenta Max plan, the way the insider and free lines are calculated might end up cheaper than what you're currently paying.
For those who got the free line, do you see the free line status showing on your account yet (ie: "Line on Us 3, Line on Us 4, $30 Line Discount ID200011, etc.), under Applied Discounts and Promotions? If so, what are they calling this discount?
Mine does not show up yet, and I am already suspicious, lol. Let the games begin.
As an alternative to this free line, Tmobile currently is running a BOGO line. I am not sure if it's been discussed on the last 29 pages of this deal. I currently have a free line from 10 years ago and have not been able to receive an additional free line since then. Since I have an extra line that my daughter rarely use, we "suspended" the line for 10$/month for 90 days and will cancel it after 90 days. I signed up for the BOGO line with the goal of cancelling my suspended line in 90 days. I was able to get free activation on 1 of the line and pay 35$ for the other line. So final cost to get an extra line is 65$. I am on a ONE plan and I did this deal on the tmobile chat app

Then what drives the 90 day rule? From what I know and heard from Tforce, any cancelation of a free line that is older than 1yr shouldn't have any impact on the new lines. So, unless the BOGO is only eligible if there are no line cancelations in the last 90 days, then you are good. However, it's unclear on why we need to maintain that excess line for 90 days in the future after getting the BOGO
