It took me about a day for mine to show up on my account. But like others, am not seeing the promo ID yet. I had the sim mailed out, should arrive today.
Thanks. I just chatted with a t-mo rep and he said that the order did not go through that's the reason I can not track the order number. He tried to add a new line again but failed (probably a billing issue) and advised me to visit a store. I will give it until today and if the new line don't show up, i will visit the store.
I called the sales rep and gave them the promotion number from the linked website ID230289 and he looked it up and said that refers to a BOGO promotion. Was he wrong? Should I call back?
Yes, call and ask them to check Atlas or Tapestry (those are systems/tools they use) to check what segments are listed on your account.
I remember from the last byod free line that someone mentioned you cannot ever do a line promo with this line, otherwise it becomes a paid line. Not sure how true it is. I guess the hassle would be trying to remember which line is byod and which isn't.
You can change name of each line on your account. Just an idea.

Today I noticed a new line on my account with a random phone number.
ONE Plan $0.00/mo
MyPromotions -> Line Discount ID230289 Enrolled
Edit: Follow the advice given in this thread. Wait for the new line to show up before using the line.
Looks like I'm good to go! Sad to see people stressing others out saying T-Mobile WILL screw you over.

I called T-Mobile and they require a Go5G Next plan. It wasn't worth upgrading my plan. I am paying $120 for 6 lines, upgrading the plan would put me over $300 a month.

I've never been targeted or part of any promo. But last year was the first time I've even heard of these promos. How many if any on them lines have you gotten in your swac-converted plan?
None since becoming TMO / biller. When I was on Sprint billing I got 1 free line a few years ago that's it.

Congrats! App Chat said I was eligible two days ago. I sign up. Line showed up yesterday but no line discount ID. I called 611 today and they said line ID is inactive for my account. Looks like it's a cancellation for me :/.

Liars, this promo (if you're eligible/targeted) doesn't require a plan change
Is there a trick behind this offer? I called them and they said we can add a line for 35. I asked if my plan or pricing will change and they said no. For some reason I'm a bit skeptical.

Rep is either uninformed or he lied. No plan change needed.
I'm on a grandfathered one plus plan with multiple discounts and tons of free line promotions + kickback. Most of which are unavailable now days.
I moved from family to business when we needed to expand lines...and I'm finding that was a mistake. It helped initially (cheaper per line) but disqualified me for like the last four free line promotions and some free/cheap phones as well.
