Just a heads up, while working at my last job, we needed to source a bunch of smartwatches and we met with Amazfit. They ghosted us when we asked about privacy and data retention. All of the data going through Amazfit devices goes through and is stored in China.
Bought this. Before I open the box, I saw the seal had already been broken. Apparently someone took all the content inside and Walmart just sent the empty to me. Had to call Walmart. They couldn't send a replacement. Just refund my money and told me to reorder. Hopefully I will get it in 2 days.
Used to be good when it used to have a MIP display and a month of battery life.
Switching to AMOLED was a mistake
I wish it was an AMOLED. It's an LCD screen, which is worse. Still 10-14 days of battery is good enough for me. Can't stand charging a watch every 1 or 2 days. BTW, I have the original that has battery that can last 1.5 months. Even after 3 years, it can still can go a month without before needing a charge. However, it's been a bit wonky. I don't get notifications sometimes and the screen is too small and it's not bright enough outside for me to see well.
Probably the best budget "smart/sport" watch brand. I had this one for about a week but settled on the Amazfit 5 mostly because of the larger and slightly better screen.
Fantastic battery life and ok health tracking but its biggest issue (with just about any Amazfit watch) is once a week it would loose the Bluetooth connection to my phone. Would have you disable them enable Bluetooth to get it to connect again.
Awesome budget watch if you can get past the Bluetooth issues.

I had the first Bip. For a first time fitness watch, I thought it was great. GPS isn't the best and can be spotty with heavy trees though. I moved over to Garmin since then (2021) but I assume the 3 is still a good starter. The app is much improved I know since when I used it, very buggy. If you want to get into a fitness watch (tracking steps, runs, walks etc) but don't want to spend $200+ on a good one, start here. It'll get you moving and give you a good trial run for the ins and outs.

They'll never bring back the transreflective screens
I have the original Bip S, and that thing has insane battery life.
I use it for it's always on screen( not sure if this Bip can do it), and it can easily last a month plus.
But alas, the slow grind of technology waits for no one

Pretty good sports watch, and battery is at 37% after 8 days basic use. Zepp app is useful.
