Deal History

Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
BIP 5 is newer but not waterproof. I have gone swimming, taken showers with BIP3 - and it works great. For the price, it is a one of the better buys out there. Also, you do NOT need to buy watch faces - there is a quite a bit of variety of free wallpapers/themes available. The step count and sleep tracking is the best I have seen.
I have a Bip 1 from 2019. Battery life is still close to a month on it. To be fair though, it does drop from 100% to 90% in the first day before dropping around 3% on most days after that.
bought this during the previous time it was on sale and ended up returning as this didn't show any significant difference from other (cheap) watches of this kind.
The main deal breaker for me was the delay/lag before the screen shows time ... was several seconds which is virtually the same as with other cheap watches...
Also...you need to BUY themes and wallpapers if the couple of the stock ones don't suit you..
Battery life seemed to be on the better side though

I've had the BIP 3 (non-urban?) for about a year and a half and it's been great for fitness tracking. I don't care about smart features in general, but heart rate has been relatively accurate along with metric tracking. Battery life on this is the best part - I tend to use it actively for exercise every day for an hour or more and I only have to charge it every 2 weeks (this is after 1.5 years of use).
It can do remote shutter control, control music on your phone, and a few other features, but it isn't as integrated as an Apple Watch (I mean, it's $35, but durability has been solid).

Well, I'd be careful with it in water. I had a band 7 that was supposed to be pretty good with water, and it somehow got in and died once I was regularly swimming. I wouldn't push it with these Amazfits

Avoid any smartwatch over 2 years old due to battery degrading and risking battery expansion over time.
But, at $35 what do you loose if even for an year working smartwatch to learn about this tech to understand what you really want? Perfect trial IMHO
I bought it in last deal. Battery life is extremely well and charging time is less . Another good thing is waterproof function is working well. I wore it and was in water for almost 3 hours. I didn't see any issue. For $35 it's worth.

Not quite true, battery degradation is more noticeable on smart watches that need to be frequently charged. Not the case with this one and since when is battery expansion a thing on smart watches?
What is the difference between the Bip 3 Urban and the regular Bip 3? Or what is the difference between the Bip 3 Urban and the Bip 3 Pro?
This looks exactly the same one I have(BIP 3). Maybe Urban is a Walmart marketing thing? BIP3 Pro has GPS tracking and wireless charging, BIP3 does not.

There is no "Urban" on the Amazfit site. I have a Band 7 and love it (once I replaced the band), but I ordered this, too.
