Walmart Free Shipping hack: Order a second, filler item for store pickup. Once the projector ships, cancel the store pickup order (or do nothing and it'll cancel on its own eventually). Don't need to go to the store or return anything.

There is another review I saw as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQwEvjGuyb8. This one said once he moved the projector past about 9-10 feet away from the wall, he could no longer focus the image. At 9-10feet, the picture size was barely 100" diagonal. I was thinking about getting this projector because I have a 140" wall and it is brighter than my current projector... but if I can't get it focused past 100" I'll have to pass. Anyone else have hands on experience with this projector and its focusing?
FYI: "ANSI lumens" are not the same as regular (old) lumens. So this might be like 2000 lumens.
But manufacturers don't standardize this very well, so who knows.
What? ANSI lumens is a standard and are the only kind of lumens that matter when measuring this kind of thing. 250 isn't very bright at all. This is absolutely not "might be like 2000 lumens"

I have had a projector for years. Started off with an Infocus 4805 screen play that came out in 2004, Than moved up to IN72 that came out in 2008 had that for a while. Than about 2018 got a Optoma Darbee HD39 with 3,500 ANSI. Screen Play was 750 and the IN72 was 900 ANSI. 250 ANSI this needs to be in a dark room. You might be able to have a little light VERY LITTLE but not much at all. the darbee I can still watch with all the light on in my Livingroom with really no issues
Not sure how well this will do with fast motion like watching sports but I can tell you for experience this will need to be in a very dark room For $29 I'll play around with it even though I don't have a need for it.

Can use this for a fancy Xmas light show on your house that neighbors love
I would say no. This is just not bright enough at only 250 lumens. For those projector displays the brighter the better. If you want to do the creepy Halloween window, or the Christmas projection you really need at MINIMUM 500, but really 1000 for better results. You can get a projector like that usually on ebay for less than $100.
I think you'll be disappointed if you try with 250 lumen projector.
I can attest to how good these Onn Google TV devices are.. at least this 4k one. I got one a while back and use it more than the built-in apps on my samsung smart tv. It does Kodi perfectly well, plus has most of my streaming apps I needed, and the Google FAST tv stuff works good too. Every once in a while the sound doesn't want to work in Kodi and sometimes the HDMI-CEC control doesn't want to work but turning it off then back on usually straightens it out.
Twice the price! but yeah, for an extra $30, it might be worth if it for the extra brightness. gotta a daughter heading off to college next year and she just said she wanted a projector, might give this a go...
thanks
