Opinion: directors cut of alien 3 is a solid entry an would have been a dark, worthy, end to the franchise.

FYI most of these are currently available in 4K. I know Aliens was just released in 4k a week ago. Alien 3 is not in 4k yet.

I thought Instawatch was if you bought from Walmart back when they owned Vudu?? (That you could instantly watch it urlhasbeenblockedre you got your physical media)

Mine upgraded to 4k in iTunes last week.

It's a great transfer or remaster or whatever they did. The dark scenes in Dolby Vision even on my not top of the line TV looked great.

That was my recollection as well. Maybe Amazon copy-pasted an old Walmart listing?

For those that purchased, I assumed it didn't just appear in VUDU immediately?

Typically when you buy a physical copy that includes the digital version you will get a code inside the box that you put into Vudu or other streaming service that will give you digital access to the movie.

The box says it includes both the theatrical and unrated versions of Aliens3 and Alien Resurrection. I prefer the unrated version of Alien Resurrection, have not seen the unrated version of Aliens 3. The big miss is not having the best version of Aliens which is the extended cut with the auto turrets. If you do get this version I recommended purchasing the extended version of Aliens to add to this collection.

Will that transfer over to Vudu from Itunes?
