This game is fun, but the timed aspect of it made it zero fun. I don't play games to feel rushed.
Which missions did you feel rushed? Some of the missions really aren't timed except the escort mission when riding doretta to break the hearthstone.
But others like when you have to just get morkite you can take your time.

Rock and Stone!
This is basically the best $10 you'll ever spend. I've easily dropped like 300+ hours into this game and enjoyed every bit of it. No microtransactions and the DLC is purely cosmetic. There is NO pay-to-win mechanics in this game (as it should be). Each team can be 1~4 players per map.

There is no "timed" aspect for any missions (with a couple exceptions where you have to hold a point or stuff like that) until extraction. Those are timed, you only have a certain amount of time to get to the drop ship before it takes off again. But during the actual missions you go at your own pace.
If you turn the difficulty down to 1 or even 2 you can just chill, mine, and take in the ambiance of this game (it has a lot of ambiance 😁).

This game is free on game pass, which includes the windows version. Xbox players can cross play with PC players playing the Windows version only, no cross play with this steam version, just fyi if you were looking to play with your GP buddies.
This game has SO MUCH CONTENT. If I had paid a hundred bucks, it would be money well spent.
If you have buddies to play with (or not, the community is one of the best around, no joke see the weird comments on this thread, lol), enjoy hordes, squishing bugs, a cool completely original soundtrack, great sound effects, 4 unique classes each with their own load outs, and collecting stuff (like sets of armor, guns, and pickaxes), this game is chef's kiss. Oh yeah, almost forgot, you have to like to Rock and Stone to the Bone!

couldn't get into this game...I fall asleep playing it, not sure what the appeal is
IMO the difficulty needs to be at least 3/5 for it not to feel too easy. Really ramps up from there. The game can be as chill or as hectic as you make it based on the difficulty.

Also runs great on the steam deck!
was it the tutorial? Cause it sucks, I had to play 3 to 4 times with strangers who helped me to enjoy the chaotic objectives
