The patches and content have definitely slowed down desire to play for me
I would suggest to mod early like auto Sprint and have QoL changes so you don't have to constantly button mash
Overclock grind is one of the most fun mechanics of any game I have played beyond rogue type
Dlc is purely cosmetic and digital skins which go to revenue of the studio which is clever in not being predatory for once but can be earned as well through gameplay

What do you mean? You don't like the immense support from the devs that this game gets, and that all playable add-ons/updates have been 100% free?
I feel like I must be misinterpreting this because the rest of your comment seems to say you like it.

The community is the least toxic of any game I've ever played. Yeah, there's the occasional jerk, but most folks are willing to help new players (called "greenbeards"). As you play you can unlock weapons, and cosmetics, and beers. The devs have managed to make something special: not just a game, but a whole vibe.
I will say that I had a hard time enjoying the game at first, because I was often playing solo. It wasn't until I started looking up online missions (server button at the bottom of the mission selection screen), that I started rolling in squads of 4 dwarves, and it made the game much more enjoyable.
After getting to level 100 or so, I started rolling with several DRG Twitch streamers who are able to spawn new and exciting things in-game that aren't part of the base game, and it unlocked a whole new world of fun for me, as well as earned me some new friends.
I also enjoy unlocking all the weapons and weapon upgrades and cosmetics and beers. The devs are very anti-FOMO made it so you can earn nearly every historical item ever released in previous seasons (they're currently in Season 4).
The missions aren't timed, but getting back to the ship is. I found that could be frustrating and not enjoyable; I main a driller so I can just go through walls and get back.
If you're willing to use a VPN, you can get this game for a dollar something. Keep in mind, it's the Xbox version, but it's play anywhere. So you can play it on Xbox or Windows via the Windows store. https://www.eneba.com/xbox-deep-r...-argentina
Played this during the beta and wasn't too impressed. It was alright for a survivor game, but just badly balanced at the time. This was about 2 months ago or so when I last tried.

?? Are you sure this was the same game? I don't think it would be considered a "survival" type game, and it's been out of beta for 3+ years.
Great game, and a lot of fun to play with friends.
May your beards be thick, & your satchel's heavy! Been playing this game since it came out a few years back. It's had so many ad-ons, it never gets old. Especially fun with friends!

That's a different game. Same "universe" of characters/content, but a different game.

The season content is like months long but I came in during corruption so it was kind of chaotic with all the rockpox and wasn't very balanced for new people and for late game people just wanted to speed run like kronos for materials and gold
The seasons have enough variety but the perk tree and classes need some freshening up
I still logon but the friend i used to play with doesn't play anymore so i pretty much over ranked and have no one else IRL to relate to since baldurs gate 3 takes long time to complete
The mission types and mutations didn't have enough variety over the seasons They at least could of added one extra each patch and maybe steal one from StarCraft 2 but i love a PvE type of game and definitely got my $10 from it a year ago and i put in $15 for the explorer pack to be supportive which is even more than i ever spent on dota 2 which i have over 6000 hours with
I'm sure this game is going to be going in maintenance mode in the next few years as there developers hopefully have something coming to release for all our sakes
Yes i do like it if you haven't figured

You are talking about their Vampire Survivor knock off, this is not that. The beta demo is for a different game.
