I decided to grab the e-ink version instead for a few bucks more (11.89 after 30% coupon). It runs off a button battery, with a 1 year battery life.

Imagine a graph with Y-scale being temp or humidity and X-scale is time.
1-point calibration simply moves the whole graph up or down, it doesn't change the slope of the graph such as 2-point(or more) calibration would let you adjust.
What that means is the further away the current temp/humidity is from the calibration point, the more likely it'll be off.
Now govee does make great stuff, just look for the wifi versions (much more $).

Obviously not streamlined, but pretty easy to set up for the tech savvy folks. Nice to have all the data stored locally in Home Assistant too!

I just wanted something simple for my grow tent, no connectivity necessary. If your needs are basic, like mine, there are cheaper alternatives that get good reviews. For example, the brand Antonki has a 2 pack on Amazon for like $9, and they seem to be well liked.
