Not a deal but a cool new product and would make great gifts. I'm not sure if there are any coupons going on right now. However, as the wise latin gas station sage told Sarah Connor at the end of Terminator 1...."storm's coming"

Why? They don't manufacture it-they buy from the same guys that sell to premium brands. Unless it plugs into the wall, it's safe to buy from Harbor Freight.
It always amazes me that people think a certain brand is better than another brand just based on price tag. When in a lot of cases both products come off the same assembly line.

It is absolutely NOT safe to buy from Harbor Freight, in the sense that their non electrical items are made by cutting corners too, usually using plastic parts that should be metal. I saw casters there once labeled as 'all metal casters' made from plastic that was spray painted silver! The only things that didnt prove to be complete garbage (and sometimes theres a need for garbage disposable tools) were a hammer and a set of wrenches from there. They used to be cheap enough where it justified the one or two uses you might get before the tool broke, but their prices look a lot like other cheap tools now. Long story short: if its important dont buy from harbor freight, they buy from the same guys that make counterfeit stuff in Yiwu or wherever the hot new fake goods market is.
It is absolutely safe to buy from Harbor Freight. I've bought tools from them for years with no issues. I've bought a machette, shovel, pry bar, tarps, zipt ies, wood glue, wrenches, etc. Just because you saw a caster painted silver, you think all their products are bad? They make cheaper products that work-if you want high quality, go somewhere else and pay 3 times the price!

We survived the sitting president trying to cancel democracy, I think we'll survive the CO supreme court. But maybe just in case you should stock up on some multivitamins and tactical gear. I hear Alex Jones is offering stuff cheap these days.
I've been stocked up, I was in hurricane Katrina and saw first hand how quickly society can fall apart! Shockingly fast!!! If you aren't prepared good luck too you!
People went from buying Iphones to shooting people for a can of baby formula or some gas!!! Even shooting at rescue workers because they weren't rescuing them fast enough!!!

Manufacturers of ratcheting style jack stands that have added the locking bar to lock the jack stand should inspire greater confidence while under the vehicle. Always inspect the jack stand for good welds, integrity before purchase and tossing the spare tire underneath makes things super duper safer.

This is a good share to educate people. Your post should definitely have more thumbs up. I agree with a lot of what you posted.

I would add in a spare pair of winter boots, extra pair of wool socks, an extra winter warm hat, mace especially for the ladies, spare power block/charger, and pen/paper in case you need to leave a note as to your where you left to/current health status, etc.

Everyone should definitely have a tourniquet in their car and it's cheap to have some QuickClot as well. You always need to be able to help yourself first to slow any bleeding after an accident. For under $25 a tourniquet and QuikClot could save your life.

Also for you contact wearers.. an old extra pair of glasses is key to keep in your glovebox. Even without an emergency they've come in handy over the years in a pinch.
This does not seem like a great price to me, and I agree the kit should have a tourniquet. There are many more complete kits like these on Amazon like this if you have Amazon prime. And yes, I also keep one of these in every car, as well as a tool kit, water, and -40 degree sleeping bag.

I'm not sure why you replied to me. I was responding to the previous poster I quoted on his medical/survival advice he shared then included some of my own thoughts to piggyback on it.

About the kit.. it's fine for "most" people and it's not geared towards being some end all awesome kit. This is merely a better than nothing thing to cheaply add to your vehicle if you don't have a clue what to buy on your own.

Merry Christmas 🎅🏻
